Hand Engraved Gothic Cross Pendant

completely made and engraved this cross pendant by hand and wanted it to look like some sort of relic that is ages old, rich in history and deep in journey.

I texturized both sides of the silver and you can wear the side with the cross up or you can wear the side with the oak leaves up. I have adjusted the wire and wrap on one side of the pendant to accommodate the pearl and amethyst wrap dangle. I have added sterling silver beads all the way around the pendant for accents. You will notice that I also wrapped the silver beads around the bail.

I have made the bails on the pendant and two dangles large enough to allow this set to be rearranged. If you want to wear the pendant on the black cord, you can move it over there. You can wear both dangles on the black cord if you want or on the silver chain. There are so many different ways you could put this together.

The chain with the approximately 3mm amethyst beads is a bit more delicate and very beautiful. I would suggest carefully pushing the bead sections through the bails of the pendants and not pulling it. They will fit through, but it's close.

Again, I want to share that my full intention was for this pendant and necklace to look very old, distressed and showing wear. You can see the texture and characteristic pits and little dents that were put into the metal while on the anvil at the studio at school.
